Senior Year

You can make up to five Official – expense paid visits to college campuses. the visit to the campus cannot be longer than forty eight hours in duration. you are are not allowed to have an official visit until after your first day of classes of your senior year.

College coaches need to have an official ACT or SAT score and a copy of your official high school transcript before you can make a visit.

D-I Official visits start their Junior year after the final four Women's tournament. This rule change started a couple of years ago (5 official visits).
 
I personally think the rankings do not matter. If you can play then you can play. Schools offer the scholarships for a reason. They obviously see something in the person that can contribute to that team at the next level. Just my opinion.

I agree. After the top 25 players it really doesn't matter. A lot of top programs feel they have to pick from the top 40 or their alumni will give them H... I think you should find the right fit for your program after you fight for the top 5 players in that class--like a Lauren Cox--game changer. Some of these top rated players are coach killers--entitled but don't work hard. Coaches want hard workers to go with some potential and talent.

Couldn't agree with you more. I always liked under-sized post players. I understand the game is growing but I love to see them work much harder. Players who have a lot to prove or under the radar are usually the ones to succeed at the next level. Which is why I loved watching Caton Hill, Leah Rush, and even Nina Davis.
