Gave up 61 points to Washington at half... wide open 3's, jumpers, layups, etc.

They have athletes, they have good players, they have shooters, they have seniors, etc. They just can't play defense at all, and havent since Bob Knight left and handed it to Pat Knight.

Maybe they can keep this up and we can win those two games

I hope Fitz drops 35 on them then.

I think Texas Tech with Singletary and Roberson falls into the Oklahoma State football defense excuse. All these years with awful OSU football defenses, I would hear fans say each summer, "Well, these guys they're seniors now. So, they'll be improved."

When, seniors or not, they just aren't all that good.

I have to imagine this is the end of the road for Pat Knight at Tech, unless he pulls something out of the hat.

Ya, you kinda assume they had a good foundation to build around for 2-3 years Singletary with Roberson, and they have put the right pieces around them. They have a center, they have good support guards in Tairu (averaging 12) and Reese (averaging 12).

But, in the end you are right... John Roberson and Mike Singletary are good players, never turned into REALLY good college players. They both have size and athletic limitations and that has probably held them back.

And yes, Pat Knight is in trouble.

Understatement.

Anyone that says P Knight is a better coach than Capel is an idiot.

This should have been Knights year...A majority of seniors on that team. I expected them to have a good year this year but I was way off. This will be the end of Knights tenure at TT.
