So not only do they have a new coach but they have a brand new team. I think year one may be tough even though the conference is a bit down, but Tech will be tough in years 2-3 under BG.

Tech will be tough next year. Consistent? Maybe not. But they will be tough. They will defend you all game long. And you won't get easy hoops. If they can do anything on offense, they will be a solid club.

The addition of Soumaoro for Gillispie means that 4 of the returning 8 players won't be back on the #TexasTech roster this coming fall.

I already took Paul Cooper out of the equation, so technically they will need to lose 5.

I am guessing Mike Davis, Theron Jenkins, Jamel Outler, and one of the recruits (Hershey Robinson or Kevin Wagner most likely)...

Marshall Henderson is apparently gone also. He was arrested recently on a felony drug charge. Not a good situation. Very talented kid with some demons that he hasn't been able to kick.

Thats a big loss... he could have been a 10-12 ppg guy for them.
