They're pretty confident right now, and were already talking about OU right after their game yesterday. Hope our guys can shake it off pretty quick and be ready.

We find out what this team is made of this week.. are we a pretty good team or a team destined for March? All comes down to our defense

I do think we match up with Texas relatively well. They don't have much of a traditional inside game on offense and they are last in the conference in offensive rebounding %. But they are getting better every game on the defensive side. They are first in the conference in defending the 3 and in defensive eFG%, so we will have to take them off the dribble some of the time and get to the foul line.

Texas is #1 in the conference in 2 pt FG% because they have several guys who can get to the rim and finish as well as hit "floaters"....so we will have to defend the paint. Also, if Texas is hitting their 3s, it will likely be nailbiter, but if they are off from the outside, I believe we will win comfortably.

We were 19 of 34 from inside the arc last night and kept shooting threes even though they weren't going. Need to recognize what's working when the outside shots aren't falling. Spangler will be running around a lot tomorrow because Lammert likes to shoot the three and he's effective out there or at the rim.

Texas is playing defense this year at a level they never played under Barnes.

Defend the paint...considering how we did yesterday that might b a problem

Spang won't b running around anywhere...did something to his knee yesterday

We need to win tomorrow night and then we get 5 days off to heal and rest a little bit. Also no travel this week so that's even better.

Guess spanglers knee isn't as bad. Did it early but played 37 min after...sure it will effect somehow though

Whorns have nothing to lose and are playing well. This potentially could be a long week.

Need a raucous crowd tonight. I hope Saturday doesn't put a damper on the excitement.

I'd like to see Lon force Ibeh to guard away from the blocks. I think he'll get into foul trouble. Defensively, have to keep Taylor out of the paint as much as possible. If those two things happen, I think OU wins comfortably.

I disagree with this. When you have 3 amazing shooters you don't abandon the 3. We aren't built to beat teams with the 2 point shot. Going away from your bread and butter is going to lead to worse results on average.
