If you are going to be Mr. Hustle then hit the boards, create possessions. Be sneaky on offense and get to the rim. Never force shots. Then you are a real asset.

Cade's played that way before - just not with the flu. You must not have been paying attention.

Cade, pay no attention to Boca, no matter what he says.

It's ok buddy. If I had a dollar for for everytime I was wrong on this board I'd be a millionaire. We'll I'd have alot of dollars.

Cade grabs 1.9 boards per game over his career and his high this season was 4. He grabbed 11 today.

Cade shoots 35.7 percent for his career, he shot 50% today. More importantly he was 60% from inside 3.

His first career double double. He played great. Still forced a couple but everybody on the team did. No big deal.

"when Cade Davis is leading our team runs it means we don't have the athletes..."

of course...the fact he also blew by Mizzou players seems lost in this observation.

sad Boca. Just sad.

I guess all the dude has to do is dominate on both sides of the floor and play like Eduardo Najera did his senior year every single game to be good enough for you.

If anybody shows up on this board the next time Cade has a bad game and says that he's not a D-1 player, they will have proved that they don't know squat.

If you're going to quote stats, at least get them right. Cade is averaging 2.8 rpg, not 1.9.

True, his high before today was four. But he has finished several games this season with 4 rebs and several more with 3. Check the stats on Soonerhoops.com, that's where I got mine. I'll add that his average is only a fraction of a percentage point behind Ryan and Willie's 3.4 rpg.

EDIT: I see now you said 1.9 was Cade's career average. Why not show what he has done this season? Oh, wait! The career average makes Cade look worse than he is and helps to show how right you've been.

Off hand, this would seem to be the most Cade has ever taken the ball to the basket against a quality opponent. And it worked. He has done it more this season, but hopefully this urges him to continue to drive to the basket...

He was oustanding today, even ill.

Cade deserves better than some on here give him. Cade Davis was again the best player on the court today - two games in row from my recliner!

Cade Davis is a "GLUE GUY" that every team needs. Is he headed to the NBA, nope, but just becuase there is not a stat for effort does not mean he isnt valuable. LOL. Nick Sadorkis.

This is the lamest apology thread evar!

Did you ever see the Happy Days episode where The Fonz was having so much trouble saying "I was wrrr... wwrrrrr... wrrrong!"?

That is exactly what I thought about when my buddy Boca started this....:clap:clap:clap

Kind of showing our age Baller.....:):)

In OUs 6 losses Cade made 4 total buckets out of 27 shots (14.8%). 3 for 21 from behind the arc and 1 for 6 from inside the arc. Yesterday he made 7 buckets, with 6 of them coming from inside the arc.

He was a major asset yesterday. Was he a major asset in our 6 losses? You can answer that question for yourself.

Can you name who else was a major asset, consistently, in ANY of those losses?

Doubt it.

Quit ragging on the only guy on the team outside of Croc that has given 110% every time out. It's getting old.

Absolutely not ragging. Saying yesterday Cade gave us exactly what we need from him. More rebounds than missed 3s. More drives to the bucket. Intangibles only take you so far. If you want to be a winning team intangibles need to translate to the stat sheet at some point.

The best thing about yesterday to me is that Cade basically took over what Crocker had been doing. That is a good sign for next season.

Atleast Boca can stand behind his false statements. We've go others who made equal statements and are higing out like Al-Qaeda.
