It will be interesting to see if 5-6 losses can earn a 2 seed. Last year the 2 seeds were Arizona (3 losses), Gonzaga (2 losses), Virginia (3 losses) and Kansas (8 losses). I am not sure if the records indicated were before the tournament started or after the team was eliminated but that would only change the loss column by 1.
If the Big XII does as well in non-conference play and the team that wins the conference has 6 losses, I would think that might be a 2 seed. However, I am not sure a second place in the Big XII with 6 losses would get a 2 seed. I guess a lot of it depends on everyone else's record.
