>>>>>The Big 12 Tournament Thread<<<<<

ISU has a bunch of heralded guys who have great one-on-one games too. Good finishers obviously but they can create shots on their own. Our guys aren't like that overall. The only guys we have who do that are Thomas and Woodard. Divinyl (sic?) can too but he doesn't get that many minutes. It's just not our forte and, unfortunately, we don't guard it well either.

Time to get out the blocking pads and brooms :)

there's some truth to that. if you dont have the finishing moves then at least have the strength to get the shot up so you can get to the line. we dont do that near enough with the exception of Woodard.

That 3-point play by Selvin epitomizes what I despise about KU ... how did he get that to go in?

KU at least proving that the zone can be somewhat effective at times against ISU. I wish we had mixed it in a little bit. The problem, of course, is that ISU was able to pick up offensive rebounds.

you just hafta be able to nut up and run some solid offense and CONTROL THE BALL when ISU starts making a run. They get a little energy and it all snowballs from there.

KU loses because their offense isn't that good. OU loses, honestly, because they don't value possessions like they should and they need more half court efficiency.

This KU/ISU game illustrates perfectly how OU is every bit as good as these teams.

Wow, if ISU holds on, all 3 of their wins in this tournament would be by 3-4 points or less. This has been a fun league to watch this year

ISU won but let's face it, KU was without one of their better players and I don't think Ellis was 100% healthy. Glad we got the extra day of rest, we need it

Weird that KU's campus is like 30 minutes from KC BUT they might have been the road team today hmmmm

Alexander excuse carries no water. Ellis is still banged up.

no. not at all. I've been watching KU play all year and not having Cliff was not the deciding factor in this game. Not even close. And Ellis was fine.

ISU won because they dominated the second half. Period.

Alexander was averaging Kadeem Lattin-type minutes before he got caught cheating.
