Looking at attendance..There was only 9,000 fans there last night...On TV it was hard to tell how many OU fans were there....4,000 empty seats for Bedlam....Bedlam football does not sell out in stillwater either...Even when both teams are ranked and playing for a Big 12 title..To anyone that went...How big was the OU crowd?

I was there last night, not near as many OU fans as I thought there would be.

Nice win in a tough environment.

I could hear OUr fans yelling Boomer on free throws late.

On TV it did not sound like a tough environment. In the first half it sounded like a scrimmage and I think that is what lulled our guys to sleep.

I'd guess it was maybe 75/25 OsU fans. There were a lot of us up in the top half of the upper sections but their students and fans did a nice job of showing up to witness an almost miracle.

Based on my observations inside GIA, I think it was more like 90/10 OSU fans. There was a very good turnout of OU fans, but there were not more than 1,000 OU fans at the game.

The OSU fans were loud and supportive of their team, and the OU fans were also, but in much smaller numbers. It was a fun trip. A road win always is.

The OSU fans were friendly and civil towards me and the other OU fans I know that went to the game. It was a good experience in every way.

kind of embarrassing that people that there would be enough ou fans there to stripe the arena. ridiculous idea

I had great discussion with OSU fans, they realized how well their team played.

That was my first Bedlam in Stillwater. Agree with Traveler on the number of OU fans. No more than 1000 and most were in the upper deck. They made some good noise when OSU was shooting free throws. Some Aggies got really riled up about that being classes. That was comical.

But anyone who actually believed OU fans were going to stripe the stadium fell for a massive troll. The memes/photoshops/hashtags OU fans were making on Twitter about that were nothing more than to get OSU fans riled up. And it worked. Saw several threads on their boards predicting up to 2-5k OU fans. One fan wrote a huge blog story about the history of GIA and why he would be sick to his stomach if OU took over the arena. LOL. Several media types even bought in on it happening. Hilarious. The naivety of the local media never ceases to amaze. :ez-laugh:

Give it up to the OSU fans though. More showed up than I thought. That arena circulates the noise very well. It was not an easy environment to play in.
