William Jennings has dug up some info on OU's recruiting and here is his latest update.

Update

Yes thanks for the update.. however, I'm really unsure about Cesar now. It seems he has been wooed by others...

Will Jennings is a recruiting manbeast.

I've got a feeling Cezar is going to like it in Miami.

Thanks for the update.

Since Mr Jennings is awesome, does he ever put percentages to what he feels will happen? Just wondering what he feels...

Good stuff. I believe that we lose CG, get Jurrick, and end up with a back up plan at PG..... I hope that I'm wrong on CG, but my gut tells me that we don't get him.....

Yeah, I don't think we'll get Cezar either unfortunately. As much as I'd love to him either, based off nothing but pure speculation, he also seems like the kind of player I'd love to hate. A Keiton Page if you will.

I'd still be excited if we got Jurick and a solid juco PG.

Props to Capel for having backup plans. At least he isn't pulling a Sutton and putting all of his marbels into 1 basket like he did with Lucas.

No doubt about that. JC learned a lesson about putting it all in one place.

@SBP- What's up man???? Good to see ya on board.:woot

Like others have said, Cezar seems like a long shot now.

“The deciding factor will be wherever I feel comfortable and be able to succeed. I want a place that’s going to make me a better player and better person.”

As far as succeeding, sadly it's not at OU right now.

I was wondering who was going to be the 1st to make that statement. Its not like OSU and Iowa or even Miami is something to brag about. Only reason OSU is going to the NIT is b/c they padded their schedule. Their not better than us...and I much rather have our team going into next season than theirs with or w/o Guerrero.

I would rather have CG, but it may be better for Capel's fortunes if he got a Juco PG (assuming he has some talent, of course) because there is a better chance the guy would get acclimated and contribute earlier. Next season could be Capel's last stand, and he really doesn't have time to wait on a Freshman to figure it out.

That said, I want CG because he'd be here 4 years, with or without Capel. I'm sick and tired of OU being so young and inexperienced all the time. We are always waiting for next year so we'll have some experience, and then we lose key players and are back to square one.

The kid likes everybody, so the coach that can "close the deal" gets him. IMO

Other teams stepping up recruiting plus uncertainty in Capel's job status.
