...will give us a really good glimpse into what our team can be this year. I can't wait.

Yep. This is the exact same situation we've been in the last two years. We come into a pre-season tournament undefeated, but relatively untested, and then we face high quality competition (Saint Louis, Gonzaga, Michigan State). I think if we can beat Seton Hall and then hang tough (within 10) of MSU, it will speak volumes about where Coach Kruger has gotten our program in just 3 short years. Although, hopefully no one will be freaking out if we get outclassed by Mich St.

I want to beat Seton Hall and push MSU out of their comfort zone.

I want OU to beat Michigan State not just push them out of their comfort zone. I won't freak out and say bad things about the players and coaches if OU loses but I am not some freaking OSU fan hoping for a moral victory in football.

I want to do that, too. However, if only one, or none, of the two turns out the way we hope, it's important to remember that we've still got plenty of time to correct our mistakes and get better.

We were in the same boat last year with a 3-0 record before we got drilled by the Zags. Later in the non-conference portion of our season we had a tough loss to Arkansas in Fayetteville, and then lost to Stephen F. Austin on our own court. But, the team we saw early in the season continued to improve as the newbies began to mesh with our more experienced players to end our season on a positive note with a return to the NCAA tourney.

My point is, even if our performance in the Coaches Vs Cancer Classic is not what we want to see, it only means that we have more work to do. You know that, of course. My comments are for anyone who might see a loss to Seton Hall and/or MSU as a sign that we're in for a disappointing season like those we endured for three straight years. I don't think we'll see that with this team. IMO, they're going to be fun to watch regardless of the final outcome.

Way too early to have a glimpse of anything totally relevant. This a very young team and we will know who they are half way thru the conference schedule.

Let's just beat Seton Hall. They are very big so we have to stay out of foul trouble with Spangler and Bennent.
