The Old Big XII Women's Basketball Board

Am I the only poster who remembers this board? I don't know when it was created but it existed during the Courtney Paris era died a natural death some time after Baylor won their NC.

Posters from just about every Big XII school participated. I was reminded of this board when I saw that Brendon Enterline was one of the officials of todays game. Bryan Enterline was infamous on the Big XII Women's Basketball board because he was one of 2 or 3 officials that the fans of every team disliked.

It was a good board, without as many rude posts as you might imagine until.....Kim Mulkey went to Baylor. If I remember correctly, it all blew up after a Baylor fan asked if the fans of the other teams were pulling for Baylor to win the NC. The consensus of opinion from just about every other school's fans was no and in fact that they would probably root for any other Big XII school, but not Baylor. The board was inundated with outraged Baylor fans and a lot of fans from other schools left.

I remember and it was civil for the most part. I would never pull for baylor in any sport, then or now! They are why I think all private schools should be in their own league and all public schools should be in their own. Private schools hide everything wrong and have no accountability to anyone but themselves.
