.... Its jut not fair"
Baron Davis' comments in the post game after this scuffle toward the end of the game.

Lamar Odom said he had to do something because "He rammed into my back up 9. I don't get it, so I'm just going to have to react."

Blake's response:
"There's never a situation where I'm not going to go to the glass. I would think of all people, he would know that."

That is cool Baron having Blake's back. And I know he is a teammate and should have his back but I think we can all agree that Baron typically thinks about #1.

Blake is the man. Odom was a punk there. Blake didn't do anything nor did he react.

Its really interesting to hear/read some of the stuff the media guys in LA are talking about Davis' "transformation" as of late. A lot of them believe that Blake has made Barron care again.

:ez-laugh::ez-roll::ez-laugh: at Phil Jackson. It was so important that he never even bothered to get up.

Pretty common for veterans to get mad at young stars like Blake who play until the final whistle. Odom was probably tired/frustrated and he just wanted the clock to expire, and here is this young horse named Griffin, still playing hard.....:clap:clap

Reminds me of when all of the vets got mad at Kobe in his 1st all-star game because he was playing full court defense from the opening whistle. He took charges, etc.. Pissed off alot of vets that day.:clap:clap

Odom is just upset that a rookie straight up dominated him down the stretch to give his a team a win over the defending champs. And he was probably a little bit upset that the rookie is currently 5 times better than Odom has ever been and will only get better.

probably has something to do with blake possibly getting an all-star bid.

I have a lot more respect for Davis after standing up for BG like that.

Its amazing how much life Blake has pumped back into the Clippers. To me with his exciting play and ability to help the team win, it looks like he has transformed Davis from the player we were accustomed to the last couple of seasons: lethargic play, no passion, etc. Maybe I'm wrong, but no way Davis runs half-way down the court and starts a huge scuffle a couple of seasons ago.

Yeah, Odom was way out of line. I think it was a combination of having this rookie playing hard until the final whistle, as well as that same rookie basically being the talk of LA this season.

Also--Weren't the vets mad at Kobe his first All-Star game because instead of sharing the ball, he kept hogging the ball and try to go 1 on 1 vs. Jordan? It was so long ago, but I thought that was a big reason as well. Not 100% positive.
