1. I didn't think Pinkel would make much of a difference at Mizzou, but I was wrong. He's had more than one "flash in the pan" season...he has actually brought consistency to that program and has had/made some really good players. Gotta respect that.

2. Mizzou basketball? I'm really not a fan. Blame that on Sutherland or however you spell his name. I made the "ouch" wincing sign when Anderson skipped town, but that doesn't mean I didn't laugh.

A few things:

1. MU beat OU in football this year. How many posts did I make about that? I really don't care.

2. Most MU fans are football first. I'd say the state as a whole is probably more of a baseball state than anything (Cardinals...). I hate it, as baseball couldn't mean less to me, but it's the truth. After that, it's definitely football. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't understand the state or our fan base.

3. OU's "superiority" in basketball is minuscule, at best. Your edge lies with two final four appearances to our none. As far as conference titles, conference tournament titles, NCAA tournament appearances, sweet 16s and elite 8s, MU and OU are pretty much the same program going back through several decades.

You sad pathetic little man. The programs going back several decades are not about equal. OU has a winning record against Missouri. 112-95. OU has been to four final fours not two. OU has been to the NCAA Tournament 27 times. Missouri has been to the NCAA Tournament 24 times. There really isn't a valid argument that Missouri Basketball is equal to or better than OU basketball.

In fact the only thing you fools have over OU is an over inflated self opinion of your pathetic school. I really would have thought last summer would have infused a bit of humility in Missouri fans but obviously that has not happened. The two most over rated programs in the Big XII are Missouri Basketball and A&M Football. There just isn't any evidence to support the claims of the fans of either of those programs. Your very average.

Exactly. Almost any category--ranging from what you posted to OU's advantage in Sweet 16's and Elite 8's--OU is superior to Missouri.

Sawyer, you saying that OU's edge is "miniscule at best" is a joke, and we all know it. OU is a better program than Mizzou in basketball, plain and simple. You won't look as bad if you stop trying to convince yourself otherwise.

I'll add one more stat: OU holds the series advantage over every other team in the conference (except obviously KU) by at least 11 games.
