I'm glad that guy never officiated any of Blake's games. :facepalm
Arrogant POS officials! He should be thrown out of officiating again! McNeace slams a lot more forcefully than this.
Some of these officials are way out of control. The three in Norman for the WVU game were arrogant beyond belief. At one timeout the pr*ck was standing at free throw line behind our huddle and Lon was talking to him (I’m sure upset with previous calls) and jerk wouldn’t even look at him! Stood there, arms crossed and legs spread, like he was not to be spoken to. Then, a few minutes later, during WVU free throws Pudgy was talking to him and he kept turning and conversing with him!
I realize most officials are good people and try their best but there are some who enjoy the limelight just as there are arrogant coaches and players!

It wasn't even the official close to the play that called it. That ref should serve a suspension over that

Markel Brown got ejected for the same thing back in the day, but his dunk was a lot sicker.

The headline on that page doesn't jibe with what the announcers are saying on the video, which is that the technical was for taunting (though they didn't use that word to describe it). Either way, it was a terrible call.

You’re too kind. An official who would make a call like that should not be allowed to officiate another college game.
What the heck was he thinking?
Guys, I officiated for over 25 years, I work Big 10, SWC, MO Valley Conference so I have seen a lot of ball games but NEVER in my 25 years or in my adult life of watching basketball have I seen anything like that. Now I have seen calls that I questioned but I know for sure people questioned some of my calls but that individual needs to go back to call grade school games because he doens't belong in any league high school or college, that was the worst call I have ever seen.
