Darn you, TMZ. :(

This latest black cloud on OU basketball may end up costing us a guy like N'Diaye. I really wish that this report would have waited a few weeks until after Coach Capel had signed a few bigs.

What a nightmare season this has been.

Or N'Diaye sees a clear shot to starting ... a glass half-full approach. :)

Can you imagine if gallon cant play, we dont get ndiaye or jones...we would be TERRIBLE downlow...gonna be a long season if that is the case
Project starters: Ftz at the 4 and Allen at the 5 :(

We will still recruit two players better than those guys (Fitz and Allen) to start. C.J. Washington from Connors would be a good start.

If this happens, we will replace Colorado, Tech, and Nebraska as the cellar-dwellers in the conference for a few years.

Also, if this happens, OU basketball won't be making much money and the entire athletic department could feel a budgetary problem.

I'll still be a fan. Will you?

I never was under the impression that OU BBall did nothing but lose money. Now if the football team started struggling for a couple years we might be in trouble.

The OU basketball program has been a money maker for almost the last 30 years and maybe before that. Some years it made quite a bit more than others, but it is still the only money maker besides football.

From what I understand, the OU athletic budget is run pretty tight due to the large salaries to football coaches and Capel. I imagine if the program tanks, and that's a long ways off right now, the whole AD will feel a budgetary shortfall.
