Is huge for our program. Not to put too much pressure on the team but this one is big for getting some fans back and postseason chances.

Big Game, Esp early in the conf season. Get this one and then just increase our chances if we can steal one from someone we arent suppose to beat.

Agreed. My gut tells me that OU will be up to the task, though. I wouldn't have said that two weeks ago.

IMO, the turning point was a good win against a talented Ohio team. They went on to take care of business by beating Texas A&M CC in grand fashion, and then got a good come-from-behind win over WVU on the road.

The key, of course, will be finding a way to contain Marcus Smart. I'm not foolish enough to believe that any OU player can shut him down, he's too good for that. I just don't want to see him have a career game against us on Saturday. OSU has other good players who can score. But I think OU will match up pretty well with everyone else on their team.

On the flip side, Romero will almost certainly create a few problems for the Pokes. But it would also be nice to see Amath and Cam join the party for a change.

Just said it in another thread. But not completely shutting down Smart, but dont let him get 22+ points will greatly improve our chances.

Big game for us because we MUST win several more games at home this year and this is one of our wins last year.

I have no idea what will happen. There is only one game in between our play against the Lumberjacks. Every time I start feeling optimistic the team slaps me down. Every time I start doubting they surprise me.

I hope we can scrape a crowd together that can make a difference.

It would be great to see Cam have a good day but I want to see Fitzgerald have a big game. He is clearly capable of scoring points and I reallydon't recall anything too impressive this year. I would love to see him in double figures against OSU.

if we go 2-0 in Big 12 play it will be huge and hopefully people will realize that OU basketball program is better than 2 years ago so hopefully they will show up to the games

I don't know if I would call it so huge that if we lose it we can't recover. It's too early for that. But it's definitely a big game in the way that we need to beat a good team early in conference play to send a message that we can basically beat anyone outside of possibly KU in Norman

In my opinion with our past few years EVERY game is a big game for us. We have to go out and generate all our own press so we have to win as many as we can and somehow find a way to make the team stand out. Hard defense, run and gun doesn't matter what just find something they do well and hang their hats on it.
