This may be the 1st and last time you see this......Buddy Hield is the 1st player in Big12 MBB history to lead league in scoring, be named Player of Year and make Academic All-Big 12 First Team.

The local media is way too busy to cover this.

I love this team and I want to see them play lots more games this season. No one and dones in the tourneys allowed this year. Beat Poke tonight, beat first round mid-minor conference champion opponent in NCAAs. Beyond that, at least we're getting better than previous postseasons

I hate that Buddy's accomplishments have been overshadowed by such negative vile conduct of a few idiot students. Big congrats to Buddy nevertheless.

Thanks Ada. I'm a white guy, and I was in a frat at OU. I've never engaged in racist chants or hate speech. I admire this young black man for the way he represents the school and the team I root for. Imagine that.

There are so many more "me's" out there than the jackasses on that bus. My only hope is that deep down Buddy and everyone else (black and white) realize that. I'd love for him to see this no for my own ego, but just because.
