The other night I made a comment about Thomas being timid and I was wondering where the real Thomas was. Tonight he is a BEAST! Wow because of his play along with the rest of the crew they are getting it done in the first half.:woot
I think Thomas is finally finding his role here. He started off the season deferring too much, then he started trying to do too much. He is a 10 and 5-7 guy in this league and there is nothing wrong with that. Helluva player.
He played a really good game, he was really composed with the ball vs the WVU pressure and made some nice passes and finishes. I haven't looked at a box score yet, but I feel he rebounded the ball with some tenaciousness tonight.
IMO he was the key to breaking WVU's pressure. Excellent decisions last night - 6 dimes and one TO. Great stat line for him last night, along with taking a couple of charges - I think that is five in the last two games.
TaShawn had a really good game last night. And he did so because he's a really good player.
Thomas, like almost every other college basketball player, will also have a clunker game thrown in every now and then. That's just normal, even among the very best players. Of course, he'll suddenly become worthless and overrated again to the same OU fans who came to that conclusion after a few of his previous performances.

I think he is a 10 point 5-7 rebound guy on this team. If he were the number one scoring option at OU, he would put up better numbers. It is tough to score a bunch of points on this team because the other four starters are getting their points.
