This was not one persons fault. Everyone played bad in every asset of the game. Villanova flat out killed us in every category so congrats to villinova.

I have said all year a fan can only ask for 2 things from our basketball program
1. Play an exciting brand of basketball that is fun to watch
2. Have an opportunity to win every time we step on the court

This team checked both boxes big time. This has been an unbelievably exciting season for me and this team goes down as one of my favorites.
Sometimes you have games like today, but I want to tell you I am proud of everyone of our guys. We kept it classy and kept our cool in an environment were some young kids may lose it.

Thanks OU basketball for such a fun season.
Special thanks to Kruger for bringing in talent in such a good way that makes us excited for future seasons. This season was amazing and I truly believe next season will be fun as well

We learned that good passing is more effective than one on one

I think it was a great season. Sucks we lost.

On the flip side, the championship game will consist of 2 teams with a bunch of 4 and 5 star recruits and McDonald's all American's. Time to recruit better if we want to win it all.

Well said, lucky! I couldn't agree more.

Please this team won all year with no inside offensive game , no true pg , no depth ,and average defense .
Saying that it was a GREAT ride and one of the most exciting seasons you ever see ( other the a future National championship)
I couldn't be more proud of this team and program and I'm so thankful for getting to enjoy Buddy for 4 years . A great ambassador for our program and even for college basketball itself .
A great year , came up a little short but again this was a smoke and mirrors team and I think they did about sa well as they could for their overall talent and depth

Lon did a great thing in getting the program back to where it should be, he used the talent he had and got them to work hard and show how that could get them to there current level. The problem Lon has had is the plateau he gets programs too. Can he keep us at this level. That is what I want to see!!! Great Season!!

OU got to the FF based consistently off making jumpers. Ran into a team that forced them to beat them driving and down low. Two areas OU isn't exactly great at. Just need to get some guys that can create better or some bigs that can actually score in the post.

The fact that it's the worst loss in F4 history definitely sucks and it will be hard to remember this season without that nagging reminder. And the guys certainly seemed to throw in the towel with about 10:00 minutes left... That said, the F4 was probably the the absolute highest point on the ceiling for this team and they achieved it-- and to do so with a likable, hard working, veteran group was a real thrill.

This core resurrected the program and made OU basketball fun and relevant again. Will absolutely remember them and this run very fondly. The 2015-16 season was a smashing success as was the entire run for this core.

Sometimes you are the hammer. Other times, you are the nail. If you are willing to accept the accolades when you blow teams out, you need to be adult enough to accept the fact that sometimes you are going to get blown out.

Nothing about this game takes away from what this team accomplished this year.

Of course not. But when I say "1988 season," I 100% guarantee you that all of us at least have Danny Manning the NC game loss cross our minds. It's impossible not to. Doesn't diminish the accomplishment or the fun that group provided. And when I look back at this season, I will always smile and remember it fondly... And then I will cringe a little bit because it will be impossible to not remember 95-51. It's just the way it is. For better or worse, we can't erase history.

I'm not trying to erase history. You'll remember Danny Manning and a terrible loss. I'll remember making it to the NC game and the Final Four.

Was fun watching this team and in particular Hield and Cousins the past four years. Proud of the season overall and look forward to hopefully a bright future going forward for the program.

No question OU was dominated in most every way by the Wildcats. But OU did put up 11 more shots and were a +12 offensive rebounds but 'Nova made 16 more shots and has two more second chance points. If you live by the 3 you die by the 3 especially when you don't defend.

It was a great season and just told the players that as they came off the bus. Nothing to hang their heads about. A loss is a loss, you aren't anymore dead if you die from a bullet than a heart attack. Can't wait to see what the future holds for this program. I love the spirit of young guys like Lattin and James who will be carrying the torch going forward, they won't forget this moment and I think we'll be making more tournament noise soon!
