If they amnesty Perkins they will be about 4 mil under the cap plus a 5.2 mil mid level exception if they are over the cap. I do not know if they are allowed to sign someone for 4 mil and then 5.2 in the same off season. Either way a starting 2 guard has the be at the top of the list. Anyone have a good name to bring in that is affordable ? Jody Meeks seems to fit.

This team does not need to get younger but Presti seems like he will continue down that path.
 
It's a great year to have the 21st and 29th pick in a strong draft. If they want to win a title they need to get tougher & stronger. Using the amnesty of Perkins is dangerous but if they do you take the risk and pony up and pay Lance Stephenson. He's exactly what they need. Their Dennis Rodman/Ron Artest.

I would love stephensen if he wasn't such a doosh. Not sure if he would fit in.

I would like afflalo or avery bradley.

I do think the thunder will pony up this offseason and make themselves a lot better
 
Bradley is a little offensive-challenged too. That is why I hope Boston lets him walk. Defense is all well and great, but you have to have guys that can put the ball in the hoop too.
 
If Stephensen wasn't such a clown no one would be talking about him. A small forward that can score 14 ppg? :woot

How about trading Westbrook for a high pick? Then maybe Durant might touch the ball come crunch time.

He averaged 15 ppg while shooting 40 percent from three. Plus he plays d. Add in that he is improving and he seems like a perfect fit to replace Thabo

Lance Stephenson is a 23 year old 6'5" shooting guard who averaged 13.8 points on 49.1% shooting, 7.2 boards & 4.6 assists. He led the league with 5 triple doubles.

He's a max talent who might be available for less than the max due to his "issues".

how does this even relate to your post I shook my head at? How about you actually gain some knowlege on the subject instead of repeating what the kansas city and national news tells you about the thunder and westbrook?

um no. if he was people would be lining up around the corner for him despite of his issues. He is a very good player with baggage. Not even close to a max player. Harden isn't really even a max player

I don't know what the national media says and no one here gives a flip about the Thunder. They might if they would actually accomplish something. My eyes saw him hogging the ball when Durant should have been touching it. I know that much. But you and your other worshipers keep gobbling up your coach who can't draw up a play and your hope our two stars make their shots offense while you continue to watch others win titles. At least you still have 1979.
