Tiny Gone!!

Seems like one of NC's teams about 10 yeras ago was in the same boat. Who was is, Matt Dougherty that was coaching?

best of luck to him, but the decisions being made my these freshman blow my mind. Can anybody imagine TMG or TINY playing against gasol, bynum, etc? They will get murdered. I sure hope coach told them this and that they shouldn't expect to get drafted.

Didn't Tiny say in a twitter post that he is just testing the waters?

I don't know if he did or not, but I don't care. Coach should pull his scholarship one way or the other at this point. Enough with the "me first" crap. I'd rather see NAIA players wearing crimson and cream if they care about the team, the university, and the fans and have a good work ethic.

haha

Who's more selfish, Tiny for wanting to chase his dream or you wanting him to put that on hold for your personal gain as a fan...

You're attributing sentiments to me that I don't feel.

Do I expect some loyalty, hustle, and hard work from athletes who sign on for a free education and the honor of representing the University of Oklahoma?

Yes, I do. If that makes me selfish, so be it. You never heard me a say a word about Blake Griffin leaving or even Willie, not to mention Sam Bradford, Jermaine Gresham, AD, and on and on.

It's about how a player behaves while in Norman that I care about.

My problem with Tiny (and TMG) is less about the fact that they're leaving (though that's part of it) but how they comported themselves while in Norman.

And now, with the program in shambles, he reportedly wants to leave us in limbo, giving opposing coaches more ammunition to use against us in recruiting, while he checks out other options?

Let him pursue his dream, I'm all for it, but lock the door behind him. Tell him he has to fish or cut bait. OU doesn't need another year of distracted, half-hearted effort from this young man.

Skyvue's quote is about Tiny's attitude all season long which was "what is best for ME".

Fair enough...

But not all players are the same and sometimes we forget they are only 18 yrs old...He made mistakes his freshman year, but i'm not gonna sit here and say he didnt play hard or didnt compete while at OU...The problem fans have with him is we dont think he is good enough to leave so we feel abandoned when the obvious answer to us is to stay and get better...

It's a lot easier to see guys like Blake or Willie go when we know their skills are ready for the NBA and have played a couple of years here...
