Tiny,TMG and Willie

A co-worker told me he heard Tiny make the comment about 3 games ago that he "was going to try and grab every rebound" and his play since then has been great on the boards. So, maybe Tiny just really wasn't grasping what was really needed from him. I'm sure at his size, he never really had to compete with many that could out-rebound him, but he's learned that it takes more than size at this level and the next. I think he is also finally settling into what his "game" should be. He doesn't have to camp at the rim, but he needs to be a presence down there and I don't think that he really understood why.

I think our three best talents needed to see what it took on this level to make it to the next level...next season they get to dish it out. This is the best news of the day, looking for Tiny to be inspired against the poques.

The way I look at it is in this manner. Tiny could have transfered and ran away from his problems thinking it was all mean old Capel's fault that he could not jump to the NBA after his first year. He did not do that. He manned up and took some of the responsiblity. That my friend is a step in the right direction. I will give him the benefit of the doubt and take him at his word. The first step to becoming great at anything is to take responsibility for one's shortcomings and fix them. Tiny has the physical gifts to be a great player. If he figures out it is on his shoulders to improve look out, because he could turn into a great one.

This Blankenship character is hardly the worst offender, it is the guy who is constantly saying Capel is a crap coach without Griffin [who he recruited] and then when he gets called on numerous inconsistencies in his arguments, he says that the posters on here can't read. I'm all for that person staying, he makes me laugh.

This can't be me. I know everybody here can read...I just question their logic and sometimes reading comprehension.:dance005:
