Da work I put in at OU and diz da thanks I get...prolly y I left

Yall wish I was still at OU just like I do lol

Now, before the apologists for this little twit start attacking me for "stalking" his Twitter, let me just tell you that I came by these tweets because Guerin Emig re-tweeted them. I really hate to publicly rip a young kid, but I have just about had it with him. He has run his life straight into the crapper because he's a lazy spoiled undisciplined punk. My sympathy And respect for him is at an all-time low.

I missed something. What's he referring to "and diz da thanks I get"?

I shouldn't bother getting mad about it, but man that guy makes my blood boil. And I've tried to keep my opinion of him on the backburner here because I know I'm in the minority, but this thread may change that.

I ate his cinnamon toast crunch.

So let me get this straight. He's blaming OU for his current situation of having no basketball career and no education????? Ok TMG, whatever you say buddy.

Dude is amazing to watch and extremely talented, but saying that, he also is the #1 reason we sucked balls last year...I'd take this years crappy season over him playing with us and getting a couple more wins (which would be debateable)...

Let me translate..."the work I put in at OU and this is the thanks I get...probably why I left...." of course it couldn't be that you were selfish and a bad student...

I don't get it. Other than the language (obviously ridiculous), what did he say that bothers you? Seems like he wishes he was still here, and I've never seen that from him before. His second tweet seems to me like a 19 year old kid who is frustrated at someone talking to him about leaving OU, and he admits (in a proud fashion) that he knows it was a mistake. The first time I've glanced a real human, before now I've only seen an absurd stereotype of a human from TMG. We don't know what he is talking about, what was said to him, or what the context is. You're all just assuming things that you don't know. The guy has done a lot of stuff in the past that deserves criticism, let's reserve it for times when it is deserved.

And by the way, I'm not innocent, but this board has been absurdly harsh on this 19 year old former freshman who was 3rd team all conference. He doesn't owe us anything, we signed him because we wanted him to win us games not because of anything special about his character or soul. He signed with us for his own reasons and doesn't have to answer for them. Sounds like a business agreement so that each can get the greatest good for itself. One freshman player can't destroy a program, and if it can that shows what the program was all along.

The thanks I get? What thanks do we owe him? The only OU team he played for was 13-18 and he was a big reason why.

I guess we should thank him for his good 1st half against Iowa State. Thanks TMG!

If he had a better attitude I would have love for him to still be at OU, he could've been legendary. Of course if a frog had wings it wouldn't bump his butt as much either.

He'll grow up someday. Some take longer than others.......

No biggie IMO.

Yeah it's clear how much you hate to rip young kids, that was very restrained of you. Keep up the noble work.

Dis be da wackest quote I be seeing.

How old is TMG? 20? 21? He needs to become a man. If he does, he could still find a comfortable NBA bench. Lord knows, he has the talent.

!. I wonder what thanks he is talking about(I'm sure he's talking about being dissed)? But where is he getting it from?

2. Who is Yall?

3. Prolly y I left...we know why you left...you tweeted it before...you didn't want to go to class and you wanted to make money.

4. Theres no wishing you were here...its more of a package deal..I'm wishing you were here with gallon and Warren.

Dem is probably right, but sheesh, the guy just keeps taking jabs. I DO appreciate that he finally admits his mistake(s).

I REALLY hope he makes something of his life, comes back to OU at some point and mends the relationship that HE threw away.

Good luck kid!

It's a long way from getting cut from the D-League to an NBA bench. The only way this kid ever makes any coin playing basketball is in Europe, and he's far too undisciplined and immature for that right now. Honestly the best thing for him would be to have to go work some crappy fast food job for a year or two to support himself and learn how things work in the real world.

Agreed. I went to his twitter account just to see what sparked it, and there were some OU "fans" giving him grief for no apparent reason, other than that he left OU.
It's one thing to post an opinion on a message board....it's quite another to go to his twitter account and insult him.
