TMG must be thinking oops!

Sasha Kaun and Keith Langford both make a $1 million per year in Russia.

yeah, like i said, the greeks and russians were going crazy a few years back. times have changed (and the exchange rate has collapsed).

here are a couple of things i just googled. a list of the highest paid players from back right before the recession. and an article from a year ago talking about how teams are cutting back. in the list it talks about the salaries being after taxes. i'm not sure that is accurate. it may be, just not confident that it is.

Actually no, I dont think hes thinking that. This is a kid who clearly wants 0 to do with school and wants to play professionally, somewhere. Im sure he knew just as well as all the draft experts on this board that the chances of him being drafted were very, very slim.

Honestly, anyone who takes pleasure in the poor life decisions of a 19 or 20 year old kid needs to take a long look in the mirror and analyze their priorities in life. Some of the posts over the last 24 hours have been disgusting. With regards to all three players.

I'm going to just park my car right here for awhile.....:clap:clap

I take pleasure in watching student athletes at OU be responsible on the court and off the court, not perfect, but responsible enough to maintain or build a winning respectable program that its fans and alumni can be proud of, while getting their education for them and their family.

Stating the obvious on a message board doesn't give me pleasure as I hate to see all parties taking the unnecessary hits, which includes OU, the student athlete and their family.

What OU basketball went through in 2009-2010 is not anything I take pleasure in either. Ask Joe Castiglione if he takes pleasure in it.

Go to WeAreSC and see how they reacted to a student athlete named Reggie Bush. Stating such fact isn't bashing the kid as it is just stating the facts on how they feel about those types of student athletes at USC.

How did his actions hurt the up coming seniors and juniors that won't see post season play at USC?

The NCAA banned him for life from major contact with USC for his actions.

How does the TMG situation even compare to the stuff Reggie pulled at USC?

So, why post it, let alone start a new thread?

Some in this thread are making comments about making threads about student athletes that make poor decisions.

I think TMG made a poor decision that affected himself mostly and to some extent OU.

I think Reggie Bush made a poor decision that affected his association with USC and to a huge extent USC.

Both student athletes made poor decisions.

I had no idea there was another TMG thread. I didn't see another TMG thread.

When you start a thread, it is new by the fact that you just started it.

You said you were stating something obvious, so if it is obvious, why post a thread about it? When you see a stop sign, do you tell everyone in the car that it is red?

I feel like a special ed teacher, or perhaps a psycho-therapist.

Why is starting a thread frowned upon to state the obvious on an opinionated message board?:facepalm

If you have read my threads in the past, I do that quite often.

My question is "why did you start it?"

You said it was obvious, so everyone should already know it by your analysis. You also said everyone involved takes a "hit" and you don't enjoy that. So, why post it. My guess is you do enjoy it, but that is just my opinion on an "opinionated" board.

Why do you post your wife's pic in your avatar? Because you can.:vitale

Yes, I enjoy my hot wife's picture being my avatar.

So, you are admitting that you post "obvious" negativity about former Sooners, because enjoy it and "because you can"?
