KU/A&M/BU/KSU/MU,

Great to know we will be competing against one another every year for a very long time. We nearly had to endure going into some clown league that nobody cares about, which is why they wanted to make this deal in the first place.

All the teams got the money deal they wanted, and we didn't have to split up traditional rivals or cater to the Pac-10 to accomplish it. With 10 teams, the Big 12 can look to add teams/markets as it sees fit, instead of joining another league.

As for those who think we catered to UT, that was happening regardless. You either cater to UT or you cater to USC and UT. They are the #1 money maker and that is how the world works.

Great work Joe C, Lew Perkins, Ian McCaw, and Deloss Dodds.

sorry but that is inaccurate IMO. you go to a conference with the power base more split up (and in multiple sports) vice vested in one or two schools. They had another option or two and blew it.

This was a HORRIBLE decision and we'll be paying dearly for it soon enough.

Is Nebraska still in the league?

Holding on to eroding ideals of tradition vs. long-term vision for the University.

I think that's what a lot of this boils down to at the core.

Well said ABD! :clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap

No, but just ask them to play in the All College Tournament every year. Rivalry solved.

Everything is relative. Compared to moving to the PAC-16, the 10 team Big-12 is MUCH better.

Now the SEC would have been another matter.
