Anyone else concerned about Tech?

I hate the early start, just seems like a chance to come out with a lackluster effort.

Buddy and Cousins, who I think is the key to the team, have not shot the ball well lately and it always worries me when you don't shoot the ball well on the road. You can lose to almost anyone - see K-State game.

I'd like to see LK come out in full-court, man pressue and really turn up the defensive effort early to try and ward off any lethargic start. If OU can get Tech down early, I'd think the Sooners could have an easier day.

If the Sooners play with effort and shoot a decent percentage, this should be a double-digit win, which is exactly what I said about the K-State game.

Yes, tomorrow will be a challenge. It's the Big 12 on the road. Tech can absolutely win.

Tech has 5 true freshman in their regular rotation (several starting) and a few other first and second year guys. They have to be one of the most inexperienced teams in the country.

Only way Tech wins is if they hit a bunch of 3's. That's how they beat ISU.

But they did beat ISU so that right there means our guys have to come out focused and ready to play. Tech SHOULD be pissed off about what we did to them in Norman also so they SHOULD be ready to go tomorrow. WE are the better team but we have to play like it to win

This is a take care of business game. If OU is as good as we think they are they win. But if they are mentally and physically weak like they've also shown then they will lose. I know ISU lost here but TCU placed a beating on them there. If shots aren't falling D up, rebound, and win a game on effort and grit. No excuses...

I'm always concerned about a conference road game, regardless of the opponent. Tech has already proven they're capable of beating a good team (see the ISU game), so it would be a mistake for our players to assume an OU win is a given. That's why I like your idea of putting the pressure on Tech defensively early on to avoid a lackluster start that could easily get us beat.

I normally really worry about these games. It is a loss you can't afford to have. You never really know with road games in the first place and it's a hard game to get up for, plus tech has nothing to lose. But for some reason I have a pretty good confidence we are going to go in there and play well.

I'm not particularly worried but it is a road game. The key is to shut down Devaughtay Williams and to some extent Robert Turner. Guards are thieir strength and I have confidence in Isaiah and Buddy to put pressure on them.

For the 3rd game in a row I have to record it and watch it later. Oh week, that's life.

I love early games on the road, attendance is usually down. Of course Tech is terrible so attendance will be down anyways.

OU 10 point favorite. Need to take care of business and make this a comfortable win. Take momentum into the off week and prepare for the stretch run.
