Tonight's Big 12 game

i remember that....Coors Event Center in the Ricardo Patton years was one of your more underrated sports dollars. you could get a GA ticket, a couple beers, and nachos for 20$. and see some of the better teams in the early Big XII (if you were me....us, OSU, UT, KU, MU sometimes) for low cost. and nachos.

truth is Ricardo's teams were generally pretty decent to above average. much better than he gets credit than with my CU friends.....

we were clearly in the building at the same time at some point

i thought it was a great deal as well

West Virginia up by 6 over KU at halftime 30-24.

And ku wins again. They always win. Combo of buying very good players and getting whatever help they need from big12 refs at the right time. Same old song and dance every year.

If only they had too many text messages or ate too much pasta. Maybe then the NCAA would punish their cheating ways.

UWV did their usual thing on the offensive boards 20-7, but they couldn't hit shots and turned the ball over 19 times.

Little brother upsets Tech in Stillwater. Texas (without Jericho Sims) is down 20 in Ames. It appears that Shaka is serous about defending their NIT title this year.

Yup ... Stillwater won’t be a walk in the park.

Why would O-State ever wear anything else? Man, those unis were SHARP.

Baylor doesn't score a point in the final 4 minutes of the 1st half....but still lead WV by 11 at the break.

We'll see how much Iowa State comes down to earth after soundly defeating Texas as they are 16.5 point underdogs at Kansas tonight.

watching UNC/ND and it's obvious that OU is MUCH better than both of these teams. I think Iowa State is better than both also.

Roy is in "heart attack" mode. I mean Carolina is just plain poor this season and I doubt it's a real talent problem.

wow. what a choke by UNC. couldnt happen to a weepier guy.

This year's Carolina team reminds me of the year after Buddy/Isaiah/Spangler left. That OU team lost a lot of close games....just like this UNC team. UNC has had some injury issues as well. Roy is also on record saying earlier in the year that this year's team is the least talented team that he has ever coached. Of course, it's his fault because he recruited them and you have to play to the strengths that you have. But Carolina has a top 5 class coming in next year, so this year is likely a blip on the radar.

Watching ku/isu...

Had a big 3 min deal on that dumbass kid with the O face on the alley oop dunk on OU...

Jacksss

ISU is hanging in so far with KU, mostly because they're 10-13 (!) from deep.

This didn’t age well. Lol. But like you, I was shocked IsU played it as close as long as they did.

I was mostly amazed by their 3-pt. percentage at that point in the game (early-ish in the second half). They went 1-10 from deep the rest of the way.

Roy is pushing 70 and it is showing. His coaching career is coming to an end.
