I know I'm in the minority on this board (and SoonerinKC won't like this :D), but I've always been a big fan of Roy. I also have a couple of good friends who are UNC alums. BTW, they don't like Roy at all either. But all the guy does is win.....until this year. He isn't some great "Xs and Os" guy, but you can't argue with his results. He usually recruits very well and lets his players play....reminds me of a coaching style that is pretty close to all of us.

Having said that....I agree with you. Age is likely becoming a problem. However, he does have a great class coming in next year and they will be much better. But I do think he retires in the next 2-3 years.

His team is still talented enough to win more than he is. I'm a UNC fan and like RW and his style. He seems to have given up on this season with his excuses.

I agree that next year they should be back in the top 10.
 
$@!! That was a classic Bill Self game. KU unfortunately always manages to win those games when the league is on the line, last year being the obvious exception. Both those teams are really good. Will be shocked if they don’t play at least once more.

Me? Lol.... I think he’s a good coach just got tired of the woe is me...facade. Especially at ku... he could never catch a break... ��

But that has more to do with the general ku population. Have some good friends that are ku grads...went to HS with and my sis played ball with Greg dreiling’s sister...good family.

sooners need too play the big boys more often. kk and etc, sooners will not survive anyntourney without rebounds and rimm protection. this team was good on paper. how good is merritt?
 
Texas continues to show some life while WV continues to be in a funk. It's a give and take as far as we are concerned since both are on our remaining schedule.

Here we have chances and blow them. I’ve finally realized we just aren’t that good. I honestly don’t see much next year unless the 7fter is all that.

Yeah I’m not seeing much positive change.

We are bringing in a 5’11...6’ guard. Losing Doo... looks like a neg vs pos.

Reaves is Reaves....they raved about how much weight he gained... dude must have been a toothpick.

Manek is who he is. Unless we can get post def help for him it’ll be a bruiser year for him.

Does JB, Harmon, Kur step upon?
 
How many more years is Lon going to coach? When is he going to retire?
 
If Kansas and Baylor win out, Anyone actually think Baylor has a chance of winning the drawing for the 1 seed?
