I see way too much whining on this board. It is damn tough to beat a team 3 times in one season and the deck was stacked against us tonight.

There was the weak T on Cousins, the constant fouling by WV that was ignored, the Tarik Philip banked in 3 with about 5:00 to go, the weak block call on Spangler, and finally the even worse missed call on Williams on James last drive. This does not even consider missed free throws and Buddy having a bad game. We played a top 15 team, had the deck stacked against us, and we overcame a lot more than this team has in a few weeks....all with the best scorer in CBB giving us very little.

I saw fight in this team that I was wondering if they had. I saw us find a 6th man and a guy that has all of the best characteristics of Hield and Cousins. I saw us find a way to break a press with Spangler, James, and Cousins.

I have been down on this team at times this season, but we have just a few games left with these guys. Let's enjoy the ride. I, for one, think we are well positioned to make a run.

I couldn't agree with you more.

We also have way too many fans who have forgotten where this program was when Buddy and Isiah committed to come here. They have poor memories and are short on gratitude.

Predicting Final Four is further than I'm willing to go, but I will say this: Tonight Christian James was the player I hoped he could be this year.

In 17 minutes he had 13 points, 5 rebounds, and an assist. He was 2-3 from three and 5-6 from the line. He hustled.

If that player shows up in the tournament, the sky's the limit.

I believe James can help us in the Tourney. I don't care who we play I just hope we don't see a Big 12 team in the Tourney until the Elite Eight or Final Four if we can get past the Sweet 16. Should have two games in OKC and hopefully to the Sweet 16.

What Ms. Proud said. Also I think this team is built for tournaments period. I believe we missed our fair share of shots and we will get hot again. Have to have Big Bridge Creek and "Lil Daddy Lattin", play well in the tourney. BOOMER SOONER BABY!

Would be great to be in the South Region with Virginia as the 1

predicting a Final 4 appearance has nothing to do with gratitude or memory loss of WHERE the team WAS at 4 years ago. I am grateful for Buddy, Isiah, Ryan, Jordan...they've done a great job, this is a great year (for OU basketball standards).

BUT, that doesn't mean not predicting a F4 is bad. I'd say they should win 1st 2 rounds, then from there I'm not predicting anything...sure if they get hot like when they played Nova a F4 is possible...just as the egg they laid at ksu, tt, ut, nearly bu..and being out. Nothing will surprise me.

We've beaten nine top 50 teams this season. We don't have to get as hot as we were against Villanova. We just have to tough out wins as we have done all season.

Every team in the country has four games like those you mentioned. Every last one of them. KU came as close as we did to losing to Baylor just yesterday.

There are times I like to whine about officials, sometimes particular calls but this time about allowing the dirty style of game WV would have paid to have. But really no matter it was a conference tournement, not needing to play our way in to a good seed instead a little less wear and tear. Things set up for a deep run, maybe very deep. The team has been complacent at times since the B12 title slipped away but now the big dance, fresh start, gas in the tank. BOOMER

I'm as guilty as anyone about being overly critical when we play poorly…and make no mistake we played 15 really bad minutes in the 2nd half yesterday.
Hopefully I don't/didn't offend anyone after the game last night (I'll blame it on the adult beverages if I did!).

I doubt we see another team that plays like that unless we see WVa down the road. A 2 seed and the motivation provided by the good play against ISU and the late comeback vs WVa and I think we're ready to make a good run.

Boomer!

I know we've beaten lots of good teams, all I said was nothing would surprise me after the first 2 games. Obviously OU will be favored in most...just going to watch and enjoy.

as far as ku/bu, IF self left his starters in, ku wins by 10+, he put subs in when bu made their run in the last 2 min.

I guess it was that you mentioned four bad games to one good one -- it's been like that around here lately: bad games get all the focus, good games get glossed over -- and you seemed to be suggesting that we'd have to again reach the level of our performance in the Nova game to have any success in the tourney, which I don't think is true. The Nova win might have been our best game of the year (and one of their worst, I suspect) and though I certainly hope we reach the level again, I don't think we have to to have success in the tourney.

Honestly, I can see a Final Four run or an exit in the 2nd round.

An early exit would be extrememly disappointing, not for the fans as much as the players/coaches who invest so much time in the product we see on game day.

This team has its flaws but is a dangerous team because of its ability to shoot at multiple positions.

Remember, the schedule has been brutal, not that it won't be in the tournament but playing other teams will be a nice switch.

Because they put their bench in to close out a 15 point lead. Not the same thing.

That's the same bench that we've been assured by many here would be starting for every other team in the Big 12.

I have OU winning it all in every bracket I made, Tiebreaker score 88-89
