Who would be your pick since 2002 as the top 6th man (being gender neutral). She may have started a few games but, she played the majority of her career as a reserve.
It's hard to remember who was a significant contributor but never a starter. The team has a hustle award named after Lauren Shoush, so I guess that would be my pick.
A single season 6th man award would have to go to Dionnah Jackson as a freshman.
Shoush is certainly a good pick but, I'm going with Laura Andrews. I started watching her when she was just a sophomore in high school and I admit I was kinda partial to her. She always played really hard and was a good team player even though her starts were limited.
I just thought of another one! Kendra Moore - never quite consistent (or consistently healthy) enough to be a starter, but won some games for us in spectacular fashion.

Can you vote for someone that was only the 6th man for one year and a starter the rest of her career? Dionnah Jackson was a terrific 6th man her freshman year.

For me my three favorites are Laura Andrews, Lauren Shoush, and Carlee. Carlee and Lauren eventually became starters later in their careers, while Laura, even though she earned a few starts, was the ultimate bench player. If I had to pick one of the three, it would be Laura. She played a lot like Nicole Kornet. Always a smile on her face, was tough and never took a possession off. Good three point shooter and defender.
