Trae Young is just ridiculous

One of the best performances by a college point guard I have ever seen!

So glad he picked OU!!!

We would have lost by 20 without him

He will likely be gone after this season

Amazing. How mature in his interview as well. He has got "it".

Remember what I said a few weeks ago about leadership? I said forget the fact that he’s a freshman. He’ll be the leader we didn’t have last year.

Trae doesn’t run away from a challenge. He welcomes it. Truly a special young man!

I hope someone else on the team can step up — he will need some help if this team is going to make a real run at the big 12.

Saw him say something to James and James didn't like it.

Need to go to see him as many times as possible at the LNC. He is truly spectacular!!

LNC needs butts in the seats... END OF STORY

Is it selfish of me to say he's "too small" to play in the NBA and needs to mature at OU for 3 years? :D

Yes he is but he's not Superman, we shouldn't expect that most games.

Big 12 is going to be really physical with him. His draft status will hinge on how he handles that.

No question he is 1st round pick good this year but he has a ways to go to be high in the lottery. Curry was mid lottery with a great college career.

Saw that too. CJ complains way too much. That doesn’t set well with officials, nor does it win him any points with his teammates.

I also saw him gripe and complain when he couldn’t control a wayward pass near the sideline in the first half. Later in the game, he turned the ball over on a pass just like the one he complained about.

I like the way he’s playing. I just don’t like his body language.

Hard to step up when you rarely get he ball passed to you.

I noticed the same things......

CJ needs to get into the game....both ends. He wants to hang out at the 3point line on offense....there were a couple of times he was wide open for a crosscourt pass for a layup if he would take a few steps toward the goal. But instead, he stayed out at the line. I suppose he doesn't think he can finish at the goal, but he needs to take the layups when they're available.

On defense, he just needs to up his intensity. Needs to play with more fire; move his feet more, go for the rebound.

Be a leader; lead by example.

He makes everyone around him better, they are looking for the pass, they are going to the boards, over all everybody is better.

The fact that we can still beat a pretty good team when Manek, McGusty, and Freeman all combine for 0/7 from 3 speaks volumes to the depth we have surrounded by TY. I loved watching him take over but I hope we don't have to rely on that type of game often to win against good opponents.
