Did I miss something a couple weeks ago? I went over to the 247 Crystal Ball, and there was a barrage of Young to Kentucky on 3/25. I really thought he was leaning to OU. Is it over?

I was just coming to see if anyone knew why everyone picked Kentucky lol. I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering.

The 247 Crystal Ball can be useful and meaningless. Meaningless when a few predict a school months ago and the prospect hasn't committed. Useful when a barrage of picks trend on one school of late then usually someone has let the cat out of the bag. Plus some guys, like Jerry Meyer in bball, you can take to the bank. Disappointing if true.

He probably was drying his car with an old Kentucky sweatshirt, and they took it from there.

I believe that the site indicates he had a coach visit from Calipari on the 24th of March and then the next day all the Kentucky picks came in...

Thanks. That actually makes me feel a little better. Maybe they just assumed he put them in front.

I think that is probably the case. And most of the time they are probably correct. Hopefully not this time though!

If we could guarantee landing trae and porter, I might be willing to take a page out of Ku's "how to legally cheat" handbook and hire mr. Young to take over as an assistant.

Young is seems to be a battle between KU and OU. Worry more about KU if he plays for an AAU team sponsored by KU supporters. Their ticket scandal years ago was because ticket brokers were given tickets without donating. These guys were also AAU sponsers whose players usually wound up at Kansas.

Everybody should take a visit to Kentucky for some pocket change.

I saw a tweet saying Trae would visit with OU and KU this week. KU boards say they are doing an in home on Tuesday. Anyone have any idea when we are meeting him?

Even if we convince Young to come to OU, I get the feeling he and Porter really want to end up at the same place, and I don't feel as though Porter is going to want that place to be OU.

Hope I'm wrong. At least on the Young part, but I see them ending up somewhere other than OU.

He is at practice weekly. Obviously they'll be a formal sit down at some point. But he is the closest recruit to the OU program maybe in history.

It's like the commercial for the company "constant contact".

That makes me feel better. I'm worried about Kentucky bc they seem to get who they want and KU because Porter seems to love it there. If this is the case I hope the bond is too strong to break. Maybe he can even convince Porter to really consider OU.

Trae has the choice of being the face of the program here, or joining a super team that fast tracks players to the NBA. Neither one is a bad choice depending on what he wants.

OU or KU...both will have glaring needs at PG after this season.

No guarantee UK's next PG recruit is one and done, look at Ullis.

If he is as good as everyone thinks being at OU won't be a disadvantage in regards to the NBA.

Exactly. That's why I don't understand when people think Kentucky or Duke is the way. Look at Ben Simmons. If you're good, you will get there.
