Transfer Portal 2025

Smart kid, used the portal as leverage and got a deal done before the house settlement.
I hear ya, but imagine every key player entering the portal to simply see who the highest bidder is…then basically telling your team that you either match or I’m leaving. This is just not what the game, or life for that matter should be about. Maybe it’s the “old school” in me coming out, but how sustainable is this current environment?

I love college basketball…I have my whole
Life. But I absolutely hate where its at and the direction it’s going. I don’t know all the answers but team salary caps, contracts…eliminating the portal being a constant revolving door would be a start.

Well again, the current system won’t be in place much longer. But lots of people negotiate their salaries when their performance and/or market warrants it. Moser and Brent have been subpar at their jobs and have gotten raises and extensions. A player would be silly to not seek to maximize their earnings for as long as the system allows it. And again, salary caps can’t happen when the NCAA pretends they aren’t employees.

Well he'll still probably be riding the bench at an SEC school. I don't see anyone slow footed as him playing a lot at this level.

If you have athletes you can maybe hide his lack of athletic ability and just let him shoot. But in the SEC they'll just expose him on defense. I don't see him getting a ton of playing time there unless he becomes a different player. Situational stretch 4. If we had better athletes at the post I wouldn't mind OU keeping him but we still probably won't have athletes there.

Played in only 9 games this year.

HUGE NEWS

Frankie Collins followed a recent Vanderbilt commit on IG today - Jalen Washington.

Definitely hoping that means OU is done with that recruitment/Collins to Vandy.

Wow, talk about a dude who has consistently been about the same player every single year.

Might be the most consistent career I have ever seen from FR and on. (SO year being his lone small bump year)

Luke just needs to be played innthe pist full time and be coached up on playing inside. If he will do it , then he could be a productive player imo.
