Totally agree. I would take him in a heartbeat. 1) He WANTS to be a sooner. 2) He can create his own shot 3) He excels at creating TO's. Even if he didn't end up being a starter, if we had him coming off the bench and playing Elvis' role, I'm fine with that. His downsides are his weight and 3 pt shooting. I iwsh he had another 30 lbs on him for sure, but I still think he can play in the SEC.Sounds like we can get him cheap! I’m In
He was the starting point guard on a winning team and doubled his production from the year before. He averaged 11 pts a game during the season and was very underwhelming during postseason play.
Trilly mentioned UNC for Tre.
Miami is trying as well.
I would definitely prefer Tre over Collins...and it's not close.
There are two players I refuse to watch (if I can) play basketball - Frankie Collins & James Harden.

I didn't bemoan the departure of Cole, Yaya or Northweather, but Miles contributed to the team's success this year, and I've not seen any evidence yet of Moser being able to consistently improve on departing talent. I might ask, what makes you so sure Moser will find someone better? That, to me, seems odd.Why do I feel like, as with Duke Miles, people aren't happy with our 'talent' but resort to hand wringing when they're leaving wondering how we'll replace them?
Seems odd
Who said it was Moser’s choice? If Duke wants to start and they are looking for somebody they feel is better fit to start in the SEC and Duke doesn’t want to come off the bench, there’s nothing Moser is going to be able to do about that. Will they be able to do that? Who knows but you are always looking to improve your roster. Duke was solid and if he would’ve been 3 inches taller, he would fit just fine with the ability that he has. Hopefully the goal is not to have three guys 6 foot to 6 foot two on the court at the same timeI didn't bemoan the departure of Cole, Yaya or Northweather, but Miles contributed to the team's success this year, and I've not seen any evidence yet of Moser being able to consistently improve on departing talent. Well you have to admit the last second Fears addition was almost fortuitous. You still give pm credit for getting it done, but on the other hand, we clearly aren't making the tourney but for FearsYou can blame PM for a lot but seems to fund serviceable guards. He put this team together and it made the tourney.....but a lot of people on here want to point fingers at his mistakes and then act like the successes are all just luck.
The fact that we make the tournament and people on here still move the goal posts seems odd.
This. I'd go as far to say that had Moser not lucked into Fears at the 11th hour, he would no longer be a coach at the University of Oklahoma. I'll give him props for not getting in his own way and letting Fears grow early in the year, but that doesn't mean he didn't get lucky. This roster was pretty much a disaster otherwise. I think one would be hard pressed to find a time where a team with a lottery pick in the upcoming draft did not make the tourney (I'm sure it has happened but I'd bet it's few and far between). Which means the fact that it almost did with us speaks to how poor the roster around Fears was.Well you have to admit the last second Fears addition was almost fortuitous. I'm not moving the goal posts a bit. Moser's been terrible at retaining talent from the jump and I've commented on it all along. And yes, we had a solid season and Miles played a role in that. So I'd like to see him stay. What's so hard to understand? You can blame PM for a lot but seems to fund serviceable guards. True, but something tells me regardless of how good those two would've been it would not have offset how much of a hit we'd have taken without Fears. Also, people seem to forget that we somehow operated with over the 13 man scholly limit (it was never made clear if we moved Godwin back to being a walk on or not)well....don't forget that nwanko and jones were also on the roster..
so a little good luck offset some bad luck losing those two.
I didn't say it was Moser's choice. I said I'm not particularly confident that he'll be able to find someone better than Miles. He has not proven to any kind of portal wizard, I think it's fair to say, and he has struggled from the day he set foot in Norman to retain players, even before NIL was a key factor.Who said it was Moser’s choice?
But that role seems to be changing and some players aren't willing to do that. It happened as soon as the women's season ended as well and they got a commitment from the #1 player in the HS ranks. The STARTING Pg entered the portal because she knows her role was going to change and she clearly didn't want to give that up.I'm not moving the goal posts a bit.
