Transfer Portal 2025

With Davis, we have only one 4 on the roster. Can we play these two side by side? Ausur shoots .5 threes per game, so I assume he is an inside guy. He's also 40 pounds heavier than Davis. I would assume he would play a small ball 5.

what are atak/holst? definitely not 5's.....
guards? i see them as 4's.

What does Atak even project/translate to? A more big man-like version of jalon moore but skinny (supposedly atak can shoot from 3 too)?
I think Atak is a 5, but def needs to put on some size, which I expect him to. I've seen him play and he looks like he has some skill, hoping he really puts in the work to help us out next season!

So hopefully a better northweather maybe?

Atak - 3/4 - I think you hope he grows into an athletic 4, but he may need to be a 3. I think that presents some issues on defense, but we'll see.

Holst - They are going to try to make him a 4, but much like Northweather, it won't work. At that size, in college, unless you are Kevin Durant, you have to be able to play the 5. At the 4 you hurt your team on defense. I will die on this hill. A tall guy that can shoot isn't automatically somebody you can play at the 4. You have to be able to move and defend, and most of them cannot.

I don't mind spending a lottery ticket on a guy like Holst. You can't have a full roster of guys ready to play without lots of discontent. But it probably won't work out.
Assuming he wasn't expensive, he is exactly the kind of player we should have on the end of the bench. If we hit the lottery, great. If not, maybe he warms a roster spot for two years then transfers out.

Like I said, assuming we're basically paying him minimum wage.
