Yeah, instead, the billionaires in OK are busy paying off ex-wives, building massive public parks along the Arkansas River, or fighting legal battles on birth control pills.

One of the great cosmic tragedies IMO is that Headington got into tennis and not basketball or was not 100% into football.

Not talking bad about the man at all, but I also would have thought Toby might have left a little something for OU bball (or football).

I am not privy to those discussions but assumed OU NIL benefited substantially from his estate.

But even then, his resources are likely a magnitude lower than even someone like Headington (much less Hamm, Kaiser, the HL family). Thank you Loves though.

I currently live in Bentonville, AR and I think the Waltons (Alice) care more about the new medical center they are building and/or the arts they seem to be pouring money into, but i could be wrong. I WISH i were wrong!

so far the 2 portal players we've landed have been upgrades, which is great. I think we need 2 more good/great guards and a center. Hopefully the incoming freshmen are able to contribute immediately.

Not me. Personally, I wish there was simply some form of "salary caps" in place where all schools were on an equal playing field. The school with the most billionaire alumni who choose to over pay these kids, simply in hopes of their school winning a NC is ridiculous to me. Maybe I'm in the minority, IDC...that's just my thoughts.

Not me. Personally, I wish there was simply some form of "salary caps" in place where all schools were on an equal playing field. The school with the most billionaire alumni who choose to over pay these kids, simply in hopes of their school winning a NC is ridiculous to me.
