Transfer Portal 2025

View attachment 2741

I was referring to this. Maybe that 29th includes portal and HS?? When I glanced at it, I initially took it as HS since they seperate out the transfer rank...regardless my point remains the same. Whether it's 38 or 40...does it require calling someone out??
Who cares when where or how we’re ranked?! We’re going to be good!!

I don't care where we're ranked....read my previous posts. I surely don't care enough to correct someone from saying we're in the mid-30's, to tell them no, it's actually 40.

And I agree, I do think we will or can be good, but if you are paying attention, the rest of the SEC also has some great recruiting classes coming in (HS & Portal). So where will we finish?

Already making excuses.

The rest of the SEC should come back to earth a little bit next year. This year was an anomaly, I think. Kind of like SEC football last year (not an anomaly, but a bunch of experienced, Senior-laden teams). I think all of the top 4 (Auburn, Tennessee, Bama, and Florida) teams will be worse off next year than they were this year. aTm finished 5th, they will be worse. Ole Miss should be worse. I could see Kentucky and Arkansas being better. The rest of the back shouldn't be any better, or much better.

I don’t know where we will finish but better than this year for sure

Excuses? Just stating "facts", like other posters claim to do. I didn't say we wouldn't finish higher, but the SEC in total has recruited very well this year...is that an excuse? If we can land Reid or another solid forward, I totally expect us to finish much higher than 14th...where that is, I have no idea. No one does. I love our additions, but we will have a very small backcourt and the SEC is loaded with rim protectors...so we better shoot the ball well (which I think we will). I just wish we had a bigtime rim protector. It's been awhile since we've had that.

In other news, that was a heck of a softball game! I would have been sick to lose a game where you were up 8-0. That's equivalent to losing a b-ball game when you had a 18 pt lead on the 2nd half.

I noticed this "coed" followed Reid yesterday. I was waiting for him to hit follow back, lol, which he hasn't yet. Was looking to see if they had that "special connection". ;)

It was obvious that NCST moved on, or Derrion did, when NCST took a couple of commitments.

But it is/was impossible to tell what's happening with Ole Miss or even a return to Bama (which I think is/was a real possibility even though some have dismissed it - no, not based on the discord poster). Ole Miss scares me because they seem a little desperate right now. Bama could circle back and offer him more if Cedric Coward picks Duke (which he should).

I’d follow her back regardless of the school I chose 😆

This really is the glory days for college athletes. Big money and big other things…

the ACC balance of power is interesting. Duke is still good but UNC is dropping. and NC State making a move with Wade. I have surprised the ACC has been able to keep it together as a hoops league first for so long in a football driven conference alignment world. Clemson football helped, but cracks are showing.
UNC is dropping because they hired a bad coach and took forever to understand the importance of NIL. They just hired a GM for what's supposed to be a blue blood.

NC State hasn't done much since the hire of Will Wade by the way.

Didn't watch a single second of it. I'm sure I missed a lot. Just kidding. I didn't.

Gameplay improvements over baseball make it a much more watchable sport.
MLB has been far more watchable the last couple years because of some of the rules they've put in like making basepads bigger and the pitch clock and a few others. I haven't watched softball in like 24 years or so.
