Softball is a great sport. You can debate whether ou spends too much on it but the product itself is exciting to watch. Patty for the record, Gasso has earned the added investment in my opinion.

I'm good man. I would rather sit here at the hospital and check my email on a Sunday night than watch softball.

In terms of size, length, and athleticism, if we get Reid and Payne, this will be a roster that can compete in the SEC night in and night out. Better athleticism, length, rebounding, multiple scoring options at guard (instead of the Fears show), more proven depth. Not sunshine pumping. We're not going to be in the top tier of SEC teams, but we'll have a shot to play for a good seed with this roster.

Agreed. I think they're looking at Reid as a wing and Payne would be a 4/5. Room for both on the roster, but not sure there's enough $.

I have not finished a baseball game in a decade, but I've watched a dozen or more softball games. They move faster, they finish sooner, and they have more drama.
