Transfer Portal 2027

I am thinking I should add a "Compare Tab" where you can compare players you search and find.

Portal list is the only thing it is really missing as of now for the backend load.

You all can change from dark to light mode with the 3-dots on the upper right hand corner.

Maybe I highlight the Final Score columns to make those standout more? (S1 Score and S2 Final)

(Portal Tab in planning - just need to find a good source)

What about Fletch? 6'5" power forward, 6'9" with the fro, does he have any eligibility left?
He did play for the Lakers for a time but they’re letting kids play pro and come back to college now. Let’s do it!

Again this is already so great, but If you’re taking all suggestions, would have a way to build a sample team? Not sure how complex that would be. But possible to manually build out a CSV etc.

Yep, that is in the pipeline. I should have some free time to work more on this Wednesday more heavily. Will integrate On3 portal webscrape most likely

Tabs To-Do: In The Portal (with former team and picked team with scoring system scores), Custom Comparison Tool (selecting players and using it for comparing player to player or multiple player - would have to work on the "save" feature)
Possible to easily use Claude code or Codex to do it if you have the sources available.
Yes, Claude was what I used to help get this stood up. Amazing how little you actually have to code nowadays to standup an app. It helps having the python/terminal knowledge, but almost to the point of it being unnecessary nowadays.

I will say, I hit the credit limit a few times, so had to wait for the refresh...so it took me two days instead of one to get this stood up.

Yeah, it’s insane lol. Would love to know how college programs with people who know what they’re doing are using this type of capabilities.

I have no Python or R experience and was able to hook up a college football data api and was making charts within minutes using Claude.

For those not on the Discord… here are hints and rumors of players transferring that were dropped yesterday:

Jalen Haralson - Notre Dame

Somoto Cyril - Georgia

Isaiah Johnson - Colorado

Dwayne Aristode - Arizona

Adrian Wooley - Louisville

Rowan Brumbaugh - Tulane

Any rumors on who UNC might realistically target if they pull the plug on Davis? It will really be interesting if they finally branch out of the family tree. And as others have posted, the chain reaction that would result from that decision would be fascinating.

No nothing other than the fact that a decision at UNC is expected today.

Yeah, would be heard to imagine they would drag it out any longer. I know UNC is UNC, but you have to wonder if the ACC's downturn will hurt them in their search. I mean, if you are Dusty May, for example, why leave a better conference where you have things rolling and no doubt have tons of funding?

I'd think any blue blood with an opening should make a call to Ames to talk to TJ. But he is an interesting case because he wins with relatively lightly recruited guys who fit his identity and are willing to buy in to what they do. I think he would be great anywhere, but it would be a different setting for him, where he would be expected to be in on every 5-star.

Agreed… I personally don’t see May or TJ leaving for those said reasons… in my opinion could see guys like Todd Golden maybe, or even a wild card like Brad Stevens

Nate Oats would be interesting as well. I see Mark Byington being the all the big fish said no, so you're the guy.
