In all seriousness though, if there was a time for DePaul to invest in their program, it’s now. The Big East was average at best this season outside of UConn & St John’s. DePaul ended up 6th in the conference.

I'm still trying to figure out how they had a 20M roster with the teams he's had the past 2 years. Pope just feels like he's in way over his head with that job.

The talent and level of play is better than it’s ever been. The product is so much better than it was even a few years ago.

There were hints of making fun of the top 10 player in the class. highest rated recruit in program history if he were to commit.

That was my point. We are at the point on the board where we complain so much about everything that we'll nitpick a 5-star guard who is rated consensus top 10 because of his potential flaws.

One we dont even have yet (probably WON'T get) and bash true FR who we are too impatient to let develop a little bit before we consider him a bust.

I mean, it helps you with identifying posters on here to roll your eyes at, that is for sure.

But a 5-star guard is a take all day. If we can get both Mingo brothers, that is a big win, IMO. Even though I am lower on the older brother (Kayden) bc of metrics, he had high usage, just need him to get more efficient, which he should with X and his brother in the mix.

If we land both Mingo brothers & Reeves I'd be pretty happy. I've said it before, but I liked how Rogers looked to end the year. At the 5 spot we clearly aren't paying $5 million for a dominant player(not many out there) so get two long athletes that can defend. Rooths at the 4(all about potential) Develop Mayfield behind him. Reid at the 3 should play 30 min a game or move to the 4 and go small. Mingo brothers, Brown and Forsythe is a very good group of guards. May need to add a long wing defender or shooter is all at that point.
