I get that. I was referring to the sentence with the part you bolded - "Heck he put together a couple competitive rosters here when he was the only power 4 program in America without any NIL"

I’ll say this, the portal thus far hasn’t been great (we all know this). But for PM to be able to retain Brown, Reid, Rogers and Dayton…is impressive. We really only lost one guy I wanted to keep (Atak), but if he was asking for more than what he’s worth…I get it.

Our portal class may end up being garbage..but we’ve all harped on “retaining” quality players…and he did do that at least.

Los was easily replaceable too…yet we all rippped Porter for losing him. I’m not saying Dayton and Roger’s are all stars, simply saying they are worth retaining.

I’m not miserable lol. I said it was a good thing they all stayed. But I’m not gonna pretend they’re all difference makers. Brown I guess is. Reid is fine. Dayton is a good bench piece and Rogers will never play meaningful minutes at the SEC level.

I guess it’s just hard to have any level of excitement. Not trying to be negative. But there’s no level of hope in the program right now.
