As a kid, one of my least favorite days of the school year was the day we had to run the mile in gym class. Fortunately things changed as I got older and got my butt in shape, but I still am not winning any sprints.

I'll take Pop Isaacs over TO. TO's 3 pt shooting is equivalent to what Gotlieb's....no thanks. A guy I still would love to get, and his name was mentioned about a week ago is Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn. I assumed he would commit to Tech, but looks like he's still available. Hit 41% from 3, and shoots A LOT of them..kind of like Pack. Had games this season where he hit 8,6,6,6,6 3's in one game.

I agree. And the people who mock analysts are amusing. And of course no one is claiming anyone is perfect. But I will certainly trust someone who evaluates players/teams/analytics for a living, and who is followed and trusted by college programs, over someone who thinks Reid was a good defender this season!

I’d rather have the guys stay than pick up a comparable piece late in the portal. If we have 4 or 5 guys who can help new players figure out the system, it’s better than 1 or 2.

Days like today is where Lusk loses credibility with me. He is trying way too hard to put lipstick on a pig when he tweets about us being one of only four SEC teams to return two starters and two double-digit scorers. If you just read his tweets, you would think we are winning the offseason rather than striking out more than Dave Kingman.

I think it bears repeating: we had a top 10 portal class last year which led to one of the most painful seasons in my memory. So we retained the terrible coach and are about to have a historically BAD portal class. The math here is adding up to bleakness beyond measure.

Weird to say. He's only played 4 years. He's been a contributor at every team. Has solid stats. Really confused with the hate. Lots of guys on years 6 and 7, 5th teams, etc.

okay fair. I thought this was like his fourth school in five years. But still. You wonder why he’s jumped around so much amongst P4 schools. Not like he started at a mid major and has worked his way up.

One of those years he was injured and only played 8 games, so really just 3.5 years. Spent first two years at Tech until they recruited over him. He's one of the good ones -- not a game changer, but a poor man's Nijel Pack.
