Transfers Possible

Murphy is sir one play 2.

I’d take him in heart beat

I would take Murphy in a heart beat. These days it is rare for a kid to have to sit out.

Well, we’re out on Burton. I was kinda hoping we’d get him. He’s a tough guard that can do a lot of things well.

Does anyone have info on guys we might actually land?

I scoured juco sites and players that remain uncommitted, and there doesn't appear to be any connections to OU on that front that I can tell.

As for D-1 transfers, I haven't seen anything on that either.

Prob sign 2 guys from some D2/3 school over the summer...

Ou has been linked to quite a few transfers. I think we will take a grad and regular transfer. They won’t be d2 either.

Am enjoying watching us beat zona in ‘88

It was the greatest game OU ever played in the NCAA Tournament start-to-finish when you factor quality of opponent (runner up was Oregon in 2016). The best HALF I ever saw in March was a tie between 2002 against Arizona and 2009 against Syracuse...but you won't top the '88 game against the Wildcats start-to-finish. Arizona kept it close because they were also a great team who played very well.

As for transfers, getting them is apparently our only shot left after striking out on all our targets. Believe it or not, we can use the Pokes as our inspiration. Arguably the second greatest high school class in the history of the Sooner State was in 2002 (1982 is #1) when there were at least FIVE (maybe six) top-100 players in the state and the Pokes did not land one of them. It was the early years of message boards, and their fan base was about ready to give up on Eddie Sutton...who winds up loading up on transfers and leading the Pokes to the Final Four in 2004. Yeah, it's a stretch, but it's all I got :) .

San Francisco graduate transfer Charles Minlend Jr. has heard from Indiana, Illinois, Oklahoma, Gonzaga, BYU, VCU, Witchita State, WSU, ASU, Arizona, Oregon State, UCLA, Iowa State, Butler, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, UConn, Miss. State, amongst others, he told

Charles Minlend would seem to be ok.. He's a big guard that can rebound and defend some.. doesn't seem to shoot it real well, not super athletic looking. I need to watch more on him though.

Starting to wonder who will be the next player to want to join Kruger's team will be. Not even top in-state players for 2020 or 2021 want to, so why would a transfer?

We need a new coach to transfer in here, along with several new players.

You mean like Osby, M’baye, Spangler, Calixte, Reynolds, Reaves?
