TU vs OSU thread

I was at that game last night and while Moses is clearly improved let's not go overboard. TU isn't any good and played without their big guy who would have been defending him. I don't suspect Moses will be putting up 30 pts too often if ever against the top half of the Big 12. That said Moses is about all OSU has this year which is a lot more than OU unfortunately. I see OSU just as they were predicted 7-8 in the Big 12.

I'm not going to say he will put up 30 on big 12 teams, but going 12 for 12 and scoring 31 is impressive. I just can't believe with all the great players to come through the big 12 Moses is the only one to go 12 for 12 from the field.

You do realize moses put up 30 pts and 18 rbs against Lasalles Aaric Murray last week. Murray is projected to go in the first round of the NBA draft next year

Exactly.

The whole "don't expect Moses to put up 30 against the Big 12" is kind of a silly argument anyway.

I mean... do we expect ANYONE, with the possible exception of Kevin Durant, to put up 30 every night against the Big 12?

Moses right now is averaging 19.2 points per game. That's a little high because of the past two games, but I'll be he ends up averaging 17-20 points in Big 12 play.

People have been trying to discount Moses for like 3 years now. He's more than shown he can get it done in the Big 12.

You know what is really "silly" is that jeff spends a lot of time on the OU trying to get validation of his Pokes. Why?

I spend time here becuase it's a great place to talk Big 12 hoops. In case you didn't notice, one of the regular knowledgable posters (soonersam) here started this thread.
