Edmond Memorial plays Edmond Sante Fe at 6:30 at Edmond North, and Ardmore plays McGuiness at 8:30 at Norman North.
Of course, Nino Jackson (Junior) plays for Ardmore and Matt Christensen (Junior) for McGuiness. And there's probably 5-6 (and maybe more) potential D-1 athletes in that Memorial-Sante Fe game. They may not all be high major players, but they are definitely mid-major prospects and are fun to watch.
Sante Fe has Josh Richardson, a 6-5 senior who is apparently now being recruited by UCLA. They also have several really good juniors (including Antonio Anderson, a 6-2 combo guard, and Mike Onuoha, a very well built 6-6 power forward) and a potential big-time sophomore in 6-8 Shaq Morris. Although I'm not sure if Morris is back from his injury yet. Those heights are just guestimates, by the way.
Memorial has a kid going to Western Illinois named Obi Emegano, who at 6-3 is just a beast of a man. Someone posted on here a couple weeks ago compared him to Ernie Abercrombie, and I think that fits. They also have a junior slashing guard named James Woodard, and his younger brother James Woodard is a sophomore point guard who will probably get offers from the high major types. OU assistant Bryan Goodman was in Edmond watching Memorial this weekend.
Would love to see you guys get out there and hear your opinion on Richardson and those underclassmen in the Sante Fe-Memorial game.
