Ugh...LNC Atmosphere Hasn't Changed a Bit

I think they used to play the chant and the anthem before the team came out. It either changed when Capel came or before that.

They did the chant before the game in the early to mid 2000's, prior to Capel.


The gameday experience is worse than it's ever been. I'm not saying be a cheap knock-off of Thunder games, but at least don't make the entire crowd cringe when there's a timeout.

I watched the spiky haired guys video....that's really annoying. It makes me NOT want to drive from Tulsa to go to one of the less attended game. Ill wait to go to the OSU Texas or Kansas games when this guy gets more drowned out by the other people talking.....

And me saying that should be a wake up call to the university. I just want to watch basketball. That IS the entertainment. This isn't a middle school dance.....It's D1 basketball.

I have brought parents and friends to many OU games and every one of them has complained about or at least joked about being yelled at and told what to do by spikey hair guy. Its brutal.

I agree. That replacement dude was really bad. Funny how much it riles people up to the point of not attending games. I easily block him out by getting on my phone to check these forums.

Well I don't go to the games so i can only watch on TV. The spikey guy and handshake cams don't bother me. what does is the fact the stands look like they just called in a bomb scare.
