Umm... refs just gave OSU their game...

I've replayed that last play by Forte in HD slow-motion several times and still have yet to see any contact. In addition, it was a clean block on the ball. Refs saw what they wanted to see.

You could have used them in Austin and Fort Worth as well I imagine.

It looks like Ford took some notes on how to coach in the 2nd half from Kruger tonight but we won so luckily for us he didn't pay enough attention to Lon Wooden's 2nd half collapses.

Just be glad you don't play OU again. We controlled you this year. You had to go to OT with help from the refs to beat OU at home. Go to your own board. Oh wait......OSU doesn't have one!

Only thing you've got controlled is being a bubble team and an 11/12 seed while blowing game after game down the stretch in embarrassing fashion with a senior laden team. Awesome season!

Good luck in the tournament.

Please, I'm rarely on here and 100% of the smack I talk is in rebuttal to barbs already being thrown at OSU. I have never started a flame thread or just jumped into a thread discussing hoops to run my mouth.

and yet here you are minutes after a controversial win, jumping into a thread that had the least amount of "barbs being thrown at osu" on this board. lol.

You exemplify the same class as that of your coach, well done. What an embarrassment...

That was a bad call. As was the foul on the made 3 by Baylor. Smart looked like he was playing in sand. Wondering if he aggravated the ankle.

Is it just me or have the big 12 refs been worse than normal this year?

Super inconsistent is the big thing I've been noticing.
I can't tell you how many times I've watched Big 12 games this year where the first half is anything goes, and then there are 5 fouls called in the first two minutes of the second half.

Not just the network, the league actually publicly stated the officials screwed up the outcome of a game. That doesn't happen often. In fact, the only two times I recall it happening were OU v Oregon and ISU v KU. I am sure it has happened other times I am not recalling but it is certainly not a common thing.

By golly, the Big XII 'disciplined' those guys. They will officiate one less Big XII game next year! :facepalm

Is there a contingent OU fans which run to OSU boards like OSU fans run this board?

That's was a terrible call. I don't know if anyone came within a foot of touching him.

Felt like this wasn't mentioned enough. Sure it was a bad call to put Forte on the line, but they are acting like it was an obvious call that Forte hit the shooter on the three. If you watch it he jumped around him and the shooter flails and falls to the floor.

OSU would have been up one and Baylor would have had to foul to put someone on the line anyways. Sure it was a bad call, but it wouldn't of even been made had they not blown their whistles on the last one.

Agreed on this.

From the replays, it looked like Forte didn't even touch the shooter on the three. As you said, it looks like he jumps to the side trying to avoid him, and the shooter threw his legs out and fell to the floor.

As to the Big 12 officials -- nothing new as far as I'm concerned. Wildly inconsistent from one half to the next...? Massive advantage for home/favored teams (especially KU)....?

Yep... just another year of Big 8/12 officiating.... it's been this way as long as I've been watching.

There are OU fans who are regulars on OSU boards, just like there are OSU fans who are regular posters on this board.

However, the OU fans are not really allowed in the regular section of the OSU boards. Only the flame boards.

Then again it's an OU BOARD so what do you expect when you come here? So basically you come to talk sh#t. Good for you. I'll take pleasure knowing the overall health of OU's program is actually better than OSU's one year flash. Better pray Brown stays next year or OSU is going suck major balls.

The osu scout board is such a joke. Nobody can post a differing opinion without being banned.
