Umm... refs just gave OSU their game...

Is it just me or have the big 12 refs been worse than normal this year?

The two phrases most heard at Buffalo Wild Wings every year.

"This is the best NCAA Tournament yet..."
"The refs really suck this year..."

See my 2nd post. It is normal for fans to notice. It is rare for Commentators, ESPN, and even the Conference to acknowledge it, which has happened this year

Would you call this if you were an OSU fan? Baylor fan?

Maybe a foul...not much of one...Forte was in no mans land so Baylor could have played that smarter.

Then again it's an OU BOARD so what do you expect when you come here? So basically you come to talk sh#t. Good for you. I'll take pleasure knowing the overall health of OU's program is actually better than OSU's one year flash. Better pray Brown stays next year or OSU is going suck major balls.

If sucking major balls is being ranked in the top 25 then sure, I agree. You obviously aren't paying attention to our recruiting. We're bringing in top 100 talent. You guys lose way way more than us and bring in jucos and a 3 star with few major offers.

Shut up! And I will agree with jeff that the big frikkin problem is to how differently they call the 2nd halves of games. It's not the refs just suck. They just make it impossible to play that much differently in two halves.

Depends. It's tough to tell without seeing video from that angle. If the Baylor player's hand just went through the ball, then no foul. If not, then depending on the amount of contact, maybe a foul.

I will say that Forte driving down the middle of the lane with 3 seconds left is probably not what OSU was looking for with the game on the line.

forte's drive was not affected at all by that "contact" thats an easy no call

The contact did not cause the loss of the ball. He felt the contact and threw the ball up wildly to get a foul called. Smart move on his part, but the contact did not cause the loss of control on the ball. It was a tough call as the refs were allowing more contact then that without a foul during the game. But the 3 point foul on Forte was a tough call as well.

In the picture the contact started at the wrist and raked down the arm causing the ball to come loose. That is why you see the ball out and the hand down to the elbow. This isn't rocket science fellas.

That picture had motion in it? I missed it.
