It will be interesting to see how they separate into divisions.

This move is going to vault the Utes into a National Championship caliber program.

Sucks to be BYU.

Has Utah been to the Final 4 and kicked the crap out of Alabama in the Sugar bowl to go undefeated in football recently?

They are poised to explode.

HAte to agree, but this definately helps a program that was making some waves. If aTm went to SEC, Utah or KU were going to take their place. BAsed on last few years and the trouble USC is in, they will be the best football program in the conference for sure. Good for them...now they get a chance to prove they belong with the "big boys".

I don't know, I think UCLA can really reap the benefits of having their rival school given probation. All that talent in LA will now be looking to head more so towards UCLA's way now.

Also, Oregon isn't going anywhere.

Utah will be good, but I don't know if I would say they would have the best football program "for sure".

Recently they've been better than either of those two teams. I certainly could be wrong, never claimed to be able to see the future.

I was just saying that I wouldn't consider what you said was a given that Utah will be the best.

They'll be a player in the league, no doubt though.

The bottom line is that a team like Nebraska won because they were in the Big 8 which gave them access to the Orange Bowl and allowed them to recruit Florida and pick up some other blue chips who wanted to win 10 games every year.

Utah is now in the position to take it to another level. Utah will be the new Big Red powerhouse. Utah is now in on every California blue chip.

It's a funny the posters now hyping up Utah just a few days ago was making fun of them and the rest of the crappy Mountain West. Now they are great.
