Just from my understanding, but it's not likely. I will admit though, his dad isn't taking the Missouri job right away because he doesn't want to pressure his sons.


Trae will do more recruiting at the McD game, but don't expect anything.

Basically, on the Porter part Doug says what he's previously said, Missouri, Washington, and OU.


The only thing he adds is that Sr is letting Jr make the decision. He's not telling Porter Jr that he's taking this job and to follow him. He's letting decide where he wants to go.


Gottlieb does add that Crutchfield is supposedly in line for the Austin Peay job, and should he get that, OU could offer Porter Sr a job here.

They discussed further about if it would be a gut punch to Missouri if Porter didn't go there, but Gottlieb counters with it would be a gutpunch to OU if Young left OU for Missouri (He wasn't saying this was going to happen, was just trying to show that recruiting has twists and turns and nothing is official until someone signs)

Yes, nice summation. I was working while listening but I remember Doug wasn't saying Porter to Mizzou was a "done deal". He said OU was still in it.

The reason for my post is Porter to Mizzou is not a done deal and maybe, just maybe, OU has a better chance than anyone else thinks.
